““Hired the Ferrari F8 Tributo for a Saturday drive to Slieve Gullion. The forest drive through the Ring of Gullion was everything you hope for — tight woodland curves, summit views, and the V8 soundtrack echoing off the trees. Delivered to our door in Armagh and collected Monday morning.””

Why Hire a Supercar in Armagh

The Ring of Gullion AONB — Compact Mountain Driving
The Ring of Gullion AONB — Compact Mountain Driving

The A28 south from Armagh through Markethill reaches Newry in 19 miles, where the 8-mile Slieve Gullion Forest Drive loops through ancient woodland in the Ring of Gullion Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Slieve Gullion at 573 m is the highest peak in County Armagh, and the forest drive provides tight, technical curves through a canopy of mature oak and ash. A Ferrari F8 Tributo’s mid-range response rewards the constant gear changes this compact mountain route demands. The summit car park offers panoramic views across south Armagh and into the Republic — on clear days, you can see the Mourne Mountains to the east and the Cooley Peninsula to the south.

St Patrick’s Trail — 57 Miles of History
St Patrick’s Trail — 57 Miles of History

The signed St Patrick’s Trail connects Armagh (where Patrick founded his church in 445 AD) to Downpatrick (where he is buried at Down Cathedral) via 15 key historic sites. The 92 km / 57-mile route follows the A28 and A25 through rolling drumlin countryside, crossing the Bann at Banbridge and passing through the market towns of Loughbrickland and Rathfriland. A Lamborghini Huracan Evo covers this route in two hours of flowing A-road driving through one of Ireland’s most historically rich landscapes.

Delivery Across the Ecclesiastical Capital

How Armagh Clients Use Our Supercars

The most popular booking from Armagh. Clients collect a Ferrari F8 Tributo or McLaren 720S on Friday, drive the A28 to Slieve Gullion on Saturday, explore St Patrick’s Trail on Sunday, and return Monday. Two-day hires from £1,900 with multi-day discount.

Cross-border touring

Armagh’s proximity to the Republic creates demand for north–south driving. Clients drive south through Newry to the Cooley Peninsula, Carlingford, and into Dublin — or west through Monaghan to the Wild Atlantic Way. No border formalities; your UK insurance covers both jurisdictions.

Corporate entertainment

Businesses host visiting clients with a supercar experience from Armagh City Hotel. Multi-vehicle drives through the Orchard County and the Ring of Gullion are popular for relationship-building days with cross-border and international visitors.

Birthday and milestone celebrations

30th, 40th, and 50th birthdays account for a significant share of Armagh bookings. The Lamborghini Huracan Evo collected from home with a photo stop at The Mall’s Georgian terraces is a recurring arrangement.

Apple blossom season

Mid-April to early May transforms the Orchard County into a landscape of white and pink blossom across 6,000 acres. Driving a supercar through the orchard roads near Loughgall and Richhill during blossom season is a uniquely Armagh experience.

Driving Routes from Armagh

The standout route from Armagh is the A28 south to Slieve Gullion. Leave the city through Markethill, passing through the apple orchards that give Armagh its Orchard County title, and reach Newry in 30 minutes. From Newry, the 8-mile Slieve Gullion Forest Drive loops through the Ring of Gullion AONB with tight forest curves, summit views, and return to the A28 — a compact but spectacular excursion that fills 90 minutes of focused driving.

For a half-day expedition, St Patrick’s Trail covers 57 miles from Armagh to Downpatrick through some of Northern Ireland’s most attractive drumlin countryside. The route passes Navan Fort (Emain Macha, the ancient capital of the Ulster kings), crosses the Bann at Banbridge, and follows the A25 through Rathfriland to Downpatrick and Down Cathedral. The Lamborghini Huracan Evo handles the mix of A-road stretches and winding rural sections with equal confidence.

The A29 north to Lough Neagh provides a 40-mile circular loop. Lough Neagh is the largest freshwater lake in the British Isles at 390 sq km, and Oxford Island Discovery Centre on the southern shore offers a natural stopping point. The loop returns via Lurgan through the Craigavon lakes corridor.

The Mourne Coastal Route runs via Newry and the A2 coast road to Newcastle (35 miles), where the Mourne Mountains meet the Irish Sea. Spelga Dam, Annalong harbour, and the scenic road through Kilkeel provide constant variety. The Porsche 911 GTS handles the coastal elevation changes and tight harbour-side sections with composure.
