We know the venue intimately: the main entrance approach from the A449 avoids Dudley town centre, the turning circle by the south portico accommodates a Rolls-Royce Phantom comfortably, and the lakeside provides a stunning backdrop for car photographs. The Pink Room (45 guests) and Green Room (75 guests) are both licensed for civil ceremonies.
Hagley Hall is 5 miles south of Dudley — a Palladian stately home in 350 acres of parkland. The estate entrance from the A456 Birmingham Road leads through a tree-lined drive to the hall. Himley Hall is 3 miles west of Dudley town centre. The approach from the A449 (Himley Road) passes through Himley village and enters the estate via the main gates. The drive sweeps through mature parkland to the south portico — allow 5 minutes from the gates for a measured, elegant arrival. The lakeside walk (150 metres from the portico) provides exceptional photograph opportunities with the hall and its reflection in the water.
Hagley Hall is 5 miles south via the A456. The estate entrance is clearly marked on the Birmingham Road. The tree-lined drive is approximately 400 metres from gate to hall — long enough for a dramatic approach in a convertible Bentley, with the Palladian facade revealed progressively through the avenue. Exclusive-use weddings mean the entire estate is available for photography.
The Copthorne Hotel Merry Hill sits on the canal marina at Waterfront, Brierley Hill. The approach from the A461 passes through the Merry Hill retail area to the hotel's waterfront entrance. The canal towpath adjacent to the hotel provides additional photograph locations with the marina and narrowboats as backdrop. The hotel offers overnight accommodation for 138 guests.
