McLaren 720S

710 hp twin-turbo V8, 0–62 in 2.9 seconds, carbon MonoCell II chassis. The 720S is the most technically complete track car in our fleet — proactive chassis control, adjustable suspension from Comfort to Track, and an engine that delivers its full fury at almost any road speed. On a fast circuit like Snetterton, it is genuinely extraordinary.

Snetterton Circuit — Norfolk (45 miles)

Snetterton is East Anglia's only permanent racing circuit and one of the best for pure speed — its 300 and 200 configurations both feature extended main straights where the Porsche 911 GT3 RS can reach well over 150 mph. The circuit hosts multiple trackday and supercar operators throughout the season, and the Ipswich to Snetterton run via the A140 takes under an hour. We deliver the car on a low-loader and collect it at the end of the day — you simply arrive and drive. Snetterton is fully FIA-graded with extensive pit garages and a circuit café.

Hethel Test Track — Norfolk (50 miles)

Hethel Test Track, home of Lotus Cars, is the most technically demanding circuit near Ipswich — a purpose-built proving ground designed to develop some of the world's most capable sports cars. The 2.2-mile layout features a wide variety of corners from slow chicanes to fast sweepers, making it an exceptional environment for the Lamborghini Huracán Performante or McLaren 720S. Hethel operates corporate and private track days throughout the year — we coordinate vehicle delivery and collection with the venue's schedule.

On the day, you receive a vehicle orientation and track safety briefing before your first session. No surprises and no rushing at the circuit.

3. Arrive & Drive

Arrive at the circuit. Receive the keys. Drive. Sessions build gradually — installation lap, confidence laps, then open performance laps as you find your rhythm. Our team is trackside throughout, available for guidance, vehicle adjustments, and GoPro footage capture. After the session, the debrief is as valuable as the laps themselves.

Loton Park Hill Climb

9 miles from Ipswich. 1.4 miles, 295ft elevation gain.

Set in the grounds of Grade I listed Hintlesham Hall, this is Britain's most prestigious hillclimb venue. The course climbs steeply through fast sweepers, tightening second-gear hairpins, and a technical crest before the finish. Surface quality is excellent throughout. Ideal for the Porsche GT3 RS and Lamborghini Performante — cars that reward mechanical grip on a shorter, highly technical layout where the driver makes the biggest difference.

Wattisham Airfield

18 miles east of Ipswich. 1-mile straight, controlled environment.

A World War II airfield near York, Wattisham hosts land speed record attempts and supercar acceleration days on its mile-long concrete runway. For those who want to experience what 710 hp of McLaren or 640 hp of Lamborghini delivers in a straight line — safely, without traffic, without limits — there is no better venue in Suffolk. Fully marshalled. Individual timed runs available. The raw acceleration at Wattisham is unlike anything on a public road.

Snetterton Circuit

45 miles north of Ipswich. 2.1-mile FIA circuit, multiple configurations.

Suffolk's premier permanent racing circuit near Darlington. Snetterton hosts BTCC, Superbike, and GT championship rounds throughout the season. The circuit combines fast flowing corners with slow technical sections — the Clervaux sweeper, Tower complex, and Jim Clark Esses each demand different technique.
