Day 1 — North Wessex Downs AONB (25 miles, half-day): Depart Reading west on the A4 through Theale and Woolhampton into the North Wessex Downs — a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty covering 668 square miles of chalk downland. Continue through Bucklebury and Cold Ash to Newbury Racecourse, then return via the B4009 through Hermitage and Bradfield. The rolling open roads and gentle gradients suit a Ferrari F8 Tributo or Aston Martin DB11 perfectly. Allow 2–3 hours with a lunch stop at The Blackbird in Bagnor or The Pot Kiln at Frilsham.

Day 2 — Thames Path & Chiltern Hills (22 miles, half-day): Head north from Reading through Caversham and Mapledurham to Whitchurch-on-Thames, crossing the toll bridge to Pangbourne. Follow the Thames through the Goring Gap — where the Chilterns meet the Berkshire Downs — to Goring and Streatley, then climb into the Chilterns via South Stoke. The beech-lined lanes above Goring are spectacular in autumn. A Bentley Continental GT or Porsche 911 GTS handles the mix of river roads and hill climbs superbly. Return via the A329 through Wallingford for a fast, open homebound leg.

Day 3 — Henley & the Chiltern Ridgeway (20 miles, half-day): East from Reading via the A4155 to Henley-on-Thames, following the river through Shiplake and Lower Shiplake. From Henley, climb the B480 through Stonor Park — home of the Stonor family since 1159 — into the beech woodland of the Chiltern Hills. Continue to Christmas Common and Watlington for panoramic views across the Oxfordshire plain. A Lamborghini Huracan Evo rewards the technical bends through the Chiltern woods. Allow 2–3 hours with a coffee stop at The Bull and Butcher, Turville.

Berkshire’s country estates, private roads, and rural venues present unique delivery considerations that our logistics team manages routinely. Coworth Park (Dorchester Collection) in Ascot — one of England’s finest country house hotels — has a tree-lined private drive with advance arrival notification required; we coordinate with the concierge team for seamless vehicle presentation at the hotel entrance. Cliveden House on the Buckinghamshire border operates a gatehouse with pre-registration. Both properties have 15mph speed restrictions and designated parking for high-value vehicles.

Rural Berkshire and south Oxfordshire deliveries — Pangbourne, Goring, Streatley, Yattendon, Bucklebury, and Bradfield — frequently involve narrow country lanes, ford crossings, and unmade private drives. We use enclosed transporters for delivery to properties accessed via gravel approaches or farm tracks, preserving paintwork and avoiding stone-chip damage. Our drivers carry detailed OS grid references and What3Words locations for properties without standard postcodes. For estates with cattle grids, weight-restricted bridges, or width constraints, we conduct a virtual route survey using satellite imagery before dispatch.

Pangbourne & Goring Loop (22 miles): From Reading, head west on the A329 to Pangbourne — Kenneth Grahame’s inspiration for The Wind in the Willows. Cross the toll bridge to Whitchurch, then follow the Thames south bank to Goring-on-Thames and Streatley. Return via the B4009 through Aldworth and Compton to the A4 at Theale. Total circuit: 22 miles, approximately 1.5–2 hours with a pub stop. The River Thames views through the Goring Gap are among the finest in southern England. Best suited to a Porsche 911 GTS or Bentley Continental GT for its mix of riverside roads and Downs ridgeway lanes.

Henley & Wallingford Loop (30 miles): North-east from Reading via the A4155 to Henley-on-Thames, pausing at the riverside and the famous Henley Bridge. Continue north-west via the A4130 through Nettlebed to Wallingford — a Saxon market town on the Thames with a ruined castle and fine coaching inns. Return south via the B4009 through the Berkshire Downs villages of Aldworth and Yattendon, joining the M4 at Theale. A Ferrari Roma or Aston Martin DB11 handles the flowing A-roads beautifully, while the Berkshire Downs lanes tighten into satisfying B-road territory. Allow 2–2.5 hours with lunch at The Cherry Tree in Stoke Row.

Henley, Marlow & the Chiltern Beechwoods Loop (35 miles): Head north-east to Henley, then follow the A4155 along the Thames to Marlow — home of Tom Kerridge’s two-Michelin-star Hand & Flowers. Cross into the Chilterns via the A4155 and climb through Turville and Fingest into the beechwoods. Continue to Christmas Common and Nettlebed, returning to Henley via the B481 through Highmoor. The Chiltern lanes are narrow, technical, and utterly beautiful in a McLaren 720S or Lamborghini Huracan Evo. Allow 2.5–3 hours with a stop at The Frog in Skirmett or The Five Horseshoes in Maidensgrove.
