LuxuryCarHire.Club offers prom car hire in York, North Yorkshire. Lamborghini Huracan, Ferrari 488, Rolls-Royce Ghost, and stretch limousines for St Peter's School, Bootham School, All Saints RC School, and York sixth-form proms. DBS-checked chauffeurs. From £350.
Our York prom fleet includes the Lamborghini Huracan Evo (from £500 for 2 hours), Ferrari 488 Spider (from £525 for 2 hours), Rolls-Royce Ghost (from £550 for 2 hours), Mercedes-Benz S-Class (from £350 for 2 hours), Chrysler 300 stretch limousine (from £450 for 3 hours, seats 8), Bentley Continental GT (from £475 for 2 hours), and Range Rover Sport SVR (from £450 for 2 hours). Every vehicle arrives with a DBS-checked, formally attired chauffeur.
The Lamborghini Huracan Evo in Verde Mantis remains our most requested York prom car. The scissor doors opening outside St Peter's School on Clifton, or on Bootham beside the City Walls, create the entrance that defines prom night. York's medieval backdrop — the Minster visible above the rooftops, the ancient walls, the timber-framed buildings on the Shambles — provides a setting that amplifies every arrival with a sense of history that most cities cannot offer.
For students who prefer refined elegance over supercar drama, the Rolls-Royce Ghost offers rear-hinged coach doors, a starlight headliner, and the quiet authority of arriving in a car whose presence speaks for itself. The chauffeur opens the door, the student steps out beneath the Minster's towers, and the moment carries a weight that a supercar cannot replicate.
“"The Lamborghini outside St Peter's with the Minster visible behind — our son's face was everything. DBS certificate shared three days before, chauffeur immaculate, home by the agreed time. Exactly as promised."”
, — Claire R., Clifton, St Peter's School Prom
We serve St Peter's School (Clifton, YO30 6AB — one of the oldest schools in the world, founded in 627 AD), Bootham School (Bootham, YO30 7BU), The Mount School (Dalton Terrace, YO24 4DD), All Saints RC School (Nunnery Lane, YO23 1JG), Fulford School (Fulfordgate, YO10 4FY), Archbishop Holgate's School (Hull Road, YO10 3JA), and York College (Sim Balk Lane, YO23 2BB). Our chauffeurs know the access points, drop-off positions, and parking arrangements at each institution. St Peter's School on Clifton has a long frontage but limited turning space — we coordinate arrival timing to avoid congestion with other prom vehicles.

Every prom booking includes a chauffeur with a current Enhanced DBS certificate. We share verification details with parents before the event. Safeguarding training completed annually. No agency drivers — every chauffeur is known to us personally. For York prom bookings, our chauffeurs carry documentation in the vehicle at all times and are prepared to present it to school staff on arrival.

Lamborghini Huracan or Ferrari 488 — chauffeur-driven, 2-hour hire. Collection from your York address, scenic route past Clifford's Tower and along the City Walls, arrival at the prom venue. Scissor doors and V10 engine note against the backdrop of medieval York guarantee the entrance. From £500.
Group Stretch Limo
Chrysler 300 stretch seats 8 students — 3-hour hire from £450. Collect from multiple York addresses across Acomb, Clifton, Bishopthorpe, or Fulford, arrive together. Sound system, ambient LED lighting, and enough space for suits, dresses, and anticipation. The chauffeur handles a route through York's historic core that maximises the experience.
Prestige Pair
Two students sharing a Rolls-Royce Ghost or Bentley Continental GT. The more refined option — formal chauffeur service, rear-door opening, and a quieter arrival that still commands attention. The Ghost's starlight headliner visible through the rear window as the door opens outside the Merchant Adventurers' Hall is a subtle but memorable detail that suits York's character.
Call or WhatsApp with the prom date, school or venue name, number of students, and preferred vehicle. We recommend booking 2-3 months in advance for June and July prom dates — Lamborghini and Ferrari availability is limited during peak season.
Transparent pricing with no hidden fees. DBS-checked chauffeur, scenic route planning through York landmarks, and safe return all included in the quoted price.
Deposit secures your chosen vehicle for the date. DBS certificate and chauffeur identification details shared with parents at least 48 hours before prom night. We also confirm the exact pickup time, scenic route, and venue drop-off position.

“"The Lamborghini outside St Peter's with the Minster visible behind — our son's face was everything. DBS certificate shared three days before, chauffeur immaculate, home by the agreed time. Exactly as promised."”
“"Eight students in the stretch limo past Clifford's Tower and along the river. The photos outside the Railway Museum are brilliant. Every parent received updates throughout the evening. Professional from start to finish."”
“"Our daughter chose the Bentley Continental GT for her Bootham School prom. Understated, elegant, and the chauffeur opened the door at the venue as though she were arriving at a state occasion. The Minster behind her in every photograph. The DBS documentation arrived well in advance — reassuring and professional."”
St Peter's School, Clifton
Founded in 627 AD, St Peter's is one of the world's oldest schools. The Clifton campus provides a leafy, residential setting for prom arrivals. The school's main entrance on Clifton offers good positioning for photographs with the school buildings behind, and the street is wide enough for supercar doors to open fully. Our chauffeurs coordinate arrival timing with the school's events coordinator to manage the flow of vehicles and ensure each student's arrival has its moment.
Bootham School, Bootham
A Quaker school on Bootham, adjacent to the City Walls and within sight of the Minster. The location is exceptional for prom photography — the Minster's central tower visible above the school buildings, the medieval walls alongside. Bootham is a main road with good access, though parking is limited. Our chauffeurs use the drop-and-return method, positioning the car briefly for the arrival photograph before moving to a holding position on Marygate.
The Mount School, Dalton Terrace
On Dalton Terrace, off The Mount — one of York's most handsome residential streets. The Victorian and Georgian houses provide a refined backdrop for prom arrivals. The Mount is wide and tree-lined, suitable for even the most dramatic supercar arrival. The school's frontage on Dalton Terrace allows good vehicle positioning for photographs.
External Prom Venues
York schools frequently use the National Railway Museum (Leeman Road), the Merchant Adventurers' Hall (Fossgate), York Racecourse (the Knavesmire), and the Principal York hotel (Station Road) for prom events. We know the vehicle approach and drop-off logistics at each. The National Railway Museum arrival — stepping out of a Lamborghini beside a steam locomotive in the Great Hall — is a particularly memorable contrast that students appreciate.
