Culross (8 miles west on the A985) is one of Scotland's best-preserved 17th-century villages — cobbled streets, ochre-painted houses, the Palace, and the Town House. Used as Cranesmuir in Outlander. The village provides period settings for vintage vehicles and dramatic contrast for modern supercars against historic architecture.

12th-century Romanesque and Gothic architecture. The abbey ruins, nave, and Pittencrieff Park provide atmospheric settings for both period and contemporary productions.

The viewpoint at North Queensferry (3 miles south) captures all three bridges — UNESCO Forth Bridge (1890), Forth Road Bridge (1964), Queensferry Crossing (2017). Vehicles on the approach road with the bridges as backdrop create iconic Scottish imagery.

Culross: NTS (National Trust for Scotland) manages the village. Vehicle access requires coordination — cobbled streets accessible but narrow. Best for static positioning and controlled movement. The Palace courtyard and mercat cross provide defined shooting positions.
Dunfermline Abbey: Heritage Quarter access from Monastery Street. The abbey forecourt, ruins, and Pittencrieff Park entrance all within 100 metres. Historic Scotland manages the abbey — filming permissions required.
North Queensferry Forth Bridges viewpoint: accessible from the B981. Multiple angles across the three bridges. The approach roads provide driving sequence opportunities with the bridges as constant backdrop.
Knockhill Racing Circuit (6 miles north): controlled environment for driving sequences, car reveals, and automotive content with grandstands and pit lane as backdrop.
