““Used the Lamborghini Aventador and Rolls-Royce Ghost for a commercial shoot at Bewdley riverside. The coordinator handled all vehicle movements and kept the cars spotless between takes. Crew access from Birmingham was straightforward.””

The Severn Valley Railway runs 16 miles from Kidderminster Town to Bridgnorth through 7 stations. The stations retain original Victorian and Edwardian architecture, and the railway regularly hosts period productions. Heritage steam locomotives and vintage rolling stock provide authentic period backdrops for any era from the 1850s onwards. Location fees apply through SVR’s events team.

Bewdley (3 miles west) features a largely intact Georgian town centre centred on Load Street and the Telford Bridge over the River Severn. The narrow streets, period shopfronts, and riverside setting have attracted period drama and commercial productions. A Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud or Aston Martin DB5 parked on Load Street creates an authentic period scene.

Wyre Forest covers over 1,455 hectares of ancient oak woodland — England’s largest woodland National Nature Reserve. The B4194 through the forest provides tight, canopy-covered roads suitable for driving sequences. Low traffic volumes outside school holidays allow longer shoot windows. Forest access managed by Forestry England.

Kidderminster and the surrounding area offer several production-ready locations within 15 miles. The Severn Valley Railway stations at Kidderminster Town, Bewdley, Highley, Hampton Loade, and Bridgnorth provide period settings from Victorian to 1950s. Hagley Hall’s Grade I listed Palladian mansion and 350-acre parkland serve country house productions.
Stourport-on-Severn’s Georgian canal basins where the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal meets the River Severn provide waterside settings. The A442 north to Bridgnorth follows the River Severn through open countryside suitable for driving sequences with long sightlines.
Birmingham’s production infrastructure (studios, crew base, equipment hire) is 20 miles east — Worcestershire locations combine Birmingham’s crew accessibility with rural and heritage settings.
